General Guidelines For Parents / Guardians

Parents must not enter classroom either to see their wards or the teachers during class hours. They can meet the teachers only on PTM (Parent Teacher Meeting) days or during the school recess on other working days.

They are required to co-operate with the school in its attempts to help their children progress by working diligently. They should regularly check the bags of their wards to see if any notice, invitation, etc. has been issued.

They are required to inform the school if there is any change in their address/telephone number. Leave for half-day should be avoided, as far as possible, for security reasons. Children, when sick, should not be sent to school to attend classes. For any specific medical problems, the parents must inform the school authorities prior to the commencement of academic session.

The parent attention is drawn to the fact that criticism of any teacher of the school in the presence of a child causes the child to lose his/her respect for that teacher and this may actually retard his/her progress.

Any communication made by the parents should be addressed to the Principal.Parents should sign the progress report of their wards and return it to the school within three days. If the progress report is lost a duplicate copy of the same will be issued on payment.

Absence and Withdrawal Rules and Regulations

Absence

  • For all students, 75% attendance is compulsory to appear in the final examination held at the end of the academic year.
  • No leave is granted except on an application from parents or guardians, that too, for plausible reasons only.
  • Repeated absence without leave or unexplained absence for more than 6 consecutive days renders the student liable to have his/her name struck off the rolls. Re-admission may be granted only on payment of fresh admission fee at the discretion of the Principal.

Withdrawal

  • Parents have to give one month notice for withdrawal of their wards, failing which a month fee in lieu of the notice will be charged.
  • A student can also be asked to leave the school on any of the following grounds:
  • a) Indiscipline and misconduct even after repeated instructions

    b) Use of unfair means in assessment

    c) The school authorities reserve the right of expelling any student whenever necessary in the interest of the institute

Note :

  1. In case of withdrawals, only Caution Money will be refunded that too after obtaining the "No Dues Certificate" from the school.
  2. No interest will be paid on the Caution Money held by the school.
